Don Roberts

Graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business & Economics from University Of Guelph. Started in the industry in 1975 working as a grain trader for a multinational grain company in Winnipeg. Worked trading grain/oilseeds for domestic and international grain companies in Winnipeg & Montreal for 10 years. Then was employed by a canola crushing plant in Alberta to manage their market risk management portfolio for a period of 4 years. Afterward become an independent canola futures trader on the Winnipeg Commodity Exchange from 1988-2000, while operating and managing a farm cropping operation. Upon re-locating to Vancouver brokered cash canola seed as well as canola meal and started the canola market letter service.
